CAF Awards: 'Is there no Ghanaian artistes apart from Nigerian artistes and Wizkid dressed like he lost his way to the gym

CAF Awards  which hosted in Accra, Ghana has come and gone, but Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko, a Ghanaian Journalist and Chieftain of Ghana’s New Patriotic Party (NPP), took to Facebook to call out the Football association for sidelining Ghanaian artistes, and treating the audience to vibes from Nigeria instead.

Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko wrote on Facebook;

Almost a perfect programme at the CAF Awards soiled by lack of local content. But why, they couldn’t find any Ghanaian musician? Pathetic! .

Instead of treating us to some good Ghanaian performances, as well, CAF decided to populate the stage with Naija ones plus others, including a Nigerian artiste who was dressed as if he lost his way to the gym. I hear he is called Wizkid.”
